The Miami Jr. NBA Basketball League was founded with one simple goal: to create a better basketball experience for kids and families in our community.

As a founder, I saw firsthand how youth basketball could be unorganized, overly competitive, or focused on winning at the expense of player development. I believed there was a better way—one that teaches the game properly, holds adults accountable, and gives every child a chance to grow, learn, and enjoy basketball.

Miami Jr. NBA was built to combine strong fundamentals, structured coaching, and organized competition in a positive environment. From day one, the focus has been on doing things the right way—clear expectations, respect for the game, and a commitment to the kids on the court.

With the support of dedicated coaches, referees, volunteers, and local partners, the league has grown into a program families can trust. What started as a vision has become a community-driven league focused on development, discipline, and love for the game.
